365 Project. Day 6, January 6:
This is a screen shot of one of my new best friends, Waze. Thanks to Wendy O'Connor (was it you? Or Erin Lunn?) who hooked us up. I have a very complicated relationship with navigation tools. I have NO - and I mean NO - natural directional abilities. But, ironically, I find myself distrusting and arguing with the directions my navigation systems give me. Waze is very patient with me. It understands me. And it generally takes me right where I want to go, in the quickest way possible. This afternoon, it took us on a very scenic but traffic-free drive from Pasadena to Fullerton so I could drop Jennifer at her first quartet rehearsal! Now if only Waze would tell me how to spend my Tuesday nights in Fullerton for the foreseeable future... suggestions welcome!
