365 Project. Day 125, May 5: This picture is unintentionally VERY symbolic. Today was the annual picnic that ends our year with WISH. At one point, Jennifer and her friend Suzanne braided their hair together and walked around like that for a long time. We don't plan on returning to WISH next year, because Jennifer is hoping to get some Tuesday/Thursday classes at El Camino. Our lives truly have become woven into this community over the past three years. I HATE goodbyes. I hate change. And leaving these students and moms and dads who have become a big part of our lives hurts. — with Jennifer Philbin at Lower Arroyo Park.
