365 Project. Day 90, March 31: I loathe peas. Here I am, spoiling my inner six-year-old by weeding them out of my dinner. When Jennifer was starting to eat solids, I don't know WHAT I was thinking, but I fed them to her. I suppose I thought I was starting her off right, so that she would not grow up to be as picky as I was (and still am). She not only totally gagged on them -- she shuddered and moaned afterward. I'm pleased and puzzled to report that in spite of the fact that I never imposed them on her again, she now voluntarily eats them, frozen, like they actually taste good or something. I can only attribute this to my excellent parenting.
