365 Project. Day 47, February 16: Because Lola likes them, I've had two egg shakers (little percussion instruments) out for her to find and play with. They happen to be right there on my nightstand, next to my lip balm. I didn't see the folly in this until I decided I needed some lip balm -- in the middle of the night. Fortunately I have learned, from years of experience, to do all I can to avoid startling Brian (he's a ridiculously light sleeper who springs awake, ready for battle). Luckily, I managed to choose the right one. But, oh my, that could certainly have gone in a different direction.
