Project 365. Day 17, January 17: I have a lot to say about chocolate chip cookies. First, I have tried a lot of chocolate chip cookies in my day. Nothing ever measures up to Nestle's Tollhouse cookies. Period. Second, my husband Brian is my absolute slave when I make them for him. Third, this mixer was given to me by my mother-in-law, and we both jokingly refer to it as my "$300 cookie dough mixer". Because I don't use it for many other things. Fourth, the cookie jar in the background was a gift I gave to Brian for Christmas one year. It's Superman and Batman, back to back. The finished cookies will fit in there. But not for very long. Finally, cookie dough and beer is a good pairing.
