365 Project. Day 40, February 9: Another example of a childhood love marred by adulthood. I am deep in the throes of a one-woman war against the dandelions in my yard. Every time I see those little puffballs, I no longer want to grab them, make a wish and blow. Instead, my practical adult mind tries to calculate how many additional weeds will likely be spawned by this stinkin' flower that seemd to have sprung up and turned to fluff in the blink of an eye. For now, I'm winning the war. But just barely.
